The CSIRO Staff Association is seeking expressions of interest from early to mid-career researchers to attend next month’s Science meets Parliament.
Organised by Science & Technology Australia, this popular event brings together about 200 of Australia’s top scientists and puts them face-to-face with the decision makers.

Essential information
- Expressions of interest are sought for four (4) early to mid-career researchers.
- Open to CSIRO Staff Association members only.
- Includes the costs of event registration, flights and transfers, meals and accomodation.
- Preference will be extended to members who have not attended the event previously.
- The successful applicants will selected by Section Council Executive with a view to ensuring balanced representation of gender, location and research areas.
How to lodge your expression of interest
- Expressions of interest should be emailed to csstaff@cpsu.org.au no later than 20th August 2012.
- In the email, please tell us why you think it’s important to attend Science meets Parliament.
- Include a brief description of yourself and the work you perform. Don’t forget to include your contact details.
