Support CSIRO finalists in this year’s Innovation Challenge

Several CSIRO projects feature as finalists in the 2014 Innovation Challenge.

Staff Association members can show their support by voting online, but act quick – voting closes midnight, this Wednesday 19 November.

The awards are sponsored by The Australian newspaper, Shell and are supported by the Department of Industry.

Three CSIRO projects have been nominated in two categories. Instructions on how to participate in the online votes are included below.

Clever solutions from deep space to the nanosphere

  • Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder

Environment, Agriculture and Food category

  • Swarm sensing project
  • Mega Returns from Micro-mapping project – joint team includes the synchrotron and the University of South Australia

The winner of each category and the overall winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in November. The names of all winners will be published in The Weekend Australian on November 29.
