Senate inquiry into Australian innovation

The Australian Senate is conducting an inquiry into the challenges facing Australian industries and jobs posed by increasing global competition in innovation, science, engineering, research and education.

Following a heavy funding cut from the Federal Government and reduced external investment, CSIRO is facing hundreds more job losses, site closures and big cuts to areas of research.

CSIRO Staff Association will be making a submission to the inquiry on behalf of members. To help inform and provide examples for our submission, members are asked to complete a short survey. Responses will be kept confidential, as per the Staff Association’s privacy policy.

Complete our short survey here.

This survey has now closed. To view the submission, and for more information on this inquiry, you can visit the dedicated page on the Parliament of Australia website.
